Job Description:
Summary
· Product sourcing and handling.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)
Stock handling and maintenance of parts inventor
Sourcing of parts, tooling & supplies
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Problem solving and leader collaboration skills
Capable of learning and adapting rapidly to challenging environments
Skillful in interpreting and implementing data
Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
Confirm and follow up on open purchase orders to ensure delivery dates are met or exceeded.
Ensure to update all open orders with due dates and confirmation once vendor has acknowledged orders along with pricing.
Ensure costs are within the budgets and negotiate pricing, quality, and supply availability.
Develops and maintains an effective working relationship with vendors including amending relationships with vendors.
Report to and assist the purchasing manager when needed.
In charge of daily purchasing operations
Research and evaluate suppliers when needed
Work closely with suppliers
Manage all purchasing from multiple vendors resulting in fewer shortages and improved delivery times.
Coordinated with accounting concerning pricing disputes.
Order office supplies and negotiate lower pricing
